Sorry for my delayed post this week, fellas. I rode seven stops (including one transfer) on the subway and ate at my dad’s place, then passed out there overnight instead of doing my post.
Anyway, I’m heading out again in about an hour but figured I might as well build off of our November party at Royal Oak, Evan’s post on same, and the national holiday that we celebrated yesterday to excess.
Fact: In many ways, our crowd last Saturday enraged me. They had an irritating lust for Lady Gaga and one dude, at 3am, asked me to spin “something gay-friendly for the birthday girl” right in the middle of our much-acclaimed filthy-hip-hop hour. In other ways, though, the crowd delighted me. Specifically, the nameless couple that danced, alone, to all of the following songs, which to me (and apparently only me) are way dancier than anything by Jay-Z. Random Indie-Pop Couple, you’ve warmed my occasionally jaded heart, and for that, I am thankful.
Download the tracks below and dance around your apartment like that delightful duo! Happy Thanksgiving!
